Double layered transparent painting, with acrylic paint and pigments. Painting in commission, with the request whether there could be houses and people visible in the painting. The inspiration for the painting of a darker and a lighter girl with houses in the background comes from the city of Amsterdam. Nice to know is that the painting is painted outdoors in the autumn sunshine in Portugal.
